The Prosecutor General Zagorka Dolovac held a meeting today in Belgrade with the Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic Mr. Maroš Žilinka, at which they jointly signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the General Public Prosecutions of the two countries.
During the meeting, it was assessed that the prosecutions of Serbia and Slovakia have excellent cooperation, primarily within Eurojust, and that the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation and the establishment of a direct channel of communication will strengthen this cooperation even more in key areas of combating crime, including the trade in narcotics, weapons and people, human smuggling, cybercrime, economic crime, corruption, money laundering and seizure of property resulting from a criminal offense.
The Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic Maroš Žilinka thanked the Prosecutor General of Serbia Zagorka Dolovac and awarded her a plaque for the development of cooperation between the Supreme Public Prosecution of Serbia and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic.
