PRESS RELEASE OF THE SUPREME PUBLIC PROSECUTION OFFICE - 25.12.2024.

The Supreme Public Prosecution Office received today, on 25th December 2024, the request of the students who gathered in front of the Supreme Public Prosecution Office building in Belgrade.

The representative of the gathered students was informed by the Supreme Public Prosecution Office that the received request would be immediately considered, and that the Supreme Public Prosecutor, Zagorka Dolovac, is ready to receive the students’ delegation today in order to familiarize them with the responses to the submitted requests.

The student representative soon informed the Supreme Public Prosecution Office that the gathered students are currently unable to form the delegation and that they would inform the prosecution office in the upcoming period when and in what composition the students’ delegation could come to the Supreme Public Prosecution Office, after holding students’ plenums at the faculties.

The Supreme Public Prosecutor and the Supreme Public Prosecution Office are fully aware of the constitutional and legal obligations and responsibilities that oblige us to act, and we fulfill and respect these obligations and responsibilities, and we will do so with additional attention also regarding the students’ requests.

The Supreme Public Prosecutor and the Supreme Public Prosecution Office reiterate their call to the representatives of the students’ protest to come to a meeting with the Supreme Public Prosecutor as soon as possible for talk on the implementation of the students’requests.
